The problem in doing this if you only have the mouse pad on the laptop is that the orientation of how the mouse pointer moves on the screen relative to the finger on the mouse pad is quite differant from what is normally used. It is very disorienting and frustrating to get the new mode selected before the default setting times out and returns you to the original screen orientation. It takes several tries to get it correct. Then if you start the Keil software with the laptop in portrait mode the software starts OK then you must switch back to landscape mode.
