Differential repairs,Diff lapping. These mini-spools will fit Holden Commodore VL to VY. These mini-spools will fit Holden Commodore VK to VL.
Dont think this is going to help coz the last post was a while ago, but i found it digging up another thread for my own help. IRS Spool's arnt the best, for anyone thats thinking of doing it here's 2 things for yas. 1: if its purely wank factor and all u want is the 'er er er er' around tight bends then dont even bother. Specially in an IRS diff, all ur gonna do is blow ur diff or break axels. Its not worth it. 2: if its to do better burnouts, seriously, go LSD with tighter clutch's.
Just dont go to tight or again, you'll have more troubles. My mate has had a Minispooled VR V6 for 2 months not even now and he has already blown the diff.
Now he has to **** around chasing another center and his gonna spool that one aswell. Some people dont learn.
70% of spooled cars these days are purely wank factor coz they think its 'fully sik' for it chirp on bends. VR/VN V6's are well known to go threw Harmonic Balancer's & Crank Angle Sensors with spools, its just extra unrequired strain on the engine. Anyways, thats my 2 cents, you may shut me down if you like but were all untitled to our comments i spose lol. Also an LSD is useless for burnouts. It puts too much pressure on the clutches and blows the LSD up!
Mine lasted one day and only a few skids! Bye bye $1200!
Ive not put a spool in it and theres nothing in it that can break except axles! WOW, $20 once every few years. No diff person will ever recommend an LSD for burnouts as thats not what theyre designed for and it wrecks them. Why do you think MOST drag cars use them? Spools for the win!
Rtl Ski Jumping 2007 Patch Nazwiska. Cheap, predictable, and much much stronger than an LSD. They do a sensor because of a mini spool?

Im just saying that people should atleast be alert of the possiblitys that will happen. And yes 'Sensors', its not long after the Harmonic goes that the sensor needs to be replaced, and anyone that replace's the harmonic without replacing the Sensor is one person i would never buy a car off. I also certainly would NOT go to your most recommended Diff Shop if your going to tell you blew the LSD after only a couple of skids? Lol Either your running a highly modified like 400+rwkw engine or your diff specialist needs a new poffession! ANY 'WELL' build LSD will be way more benificial then a Spool, and if anything all that will be required is a little tighting every now and again! With spools you need to look at: Legal'ness, that $20 + (fitting), CV joints, Harmonics + (sensors;) ), diff strain = breakage, tyres etc. Yeh Dooriyan Love Aaj Kal Video Download.
LSD's are legal, reliable, cheaper on tyres & less strain on the engine seeing as it does have to rotate both the tyres at the same speed 24/7 even when not required. If you were running a high powered engine then i would smply say run a full spool or detroit locker, but then anyone running a high powered engine wouldnt need this advise;). Spools are for high powered engines &/or pure burnout pigs(drag tag style).
