The wind cups (cups are solid with no cracks!) and direction vain are in very good condition as is the boom and end caps. Has a short cable installed, about 20 FT? Second problem One wind direction indicator on the panel does not work. Would be the South East pointer.

Again acording to the manual this could be due to a burned out bulb in the panel? Or possible a bad reed switch in the indicator cup on the vain, or it could just have a broken wire in the boom due to age? I used it like it was, and was eventually going to install it on my tower with the new cable and recalibrate it and look at the problem with the indicator. Never got around to it and really have no desire to do so now. Would like to trade for one of the following: Kenwood TS-430S parts rig, Kenwood SP-930/940 Speaker, Heathkit 2040 Tuner, could add a few $$ on this one.
